HCMC Model
In today's modern power systems, harmonics are
being generated from sources such as solid state, variable speed AC and DC
drives, UPS and other solid state controls. In view of this harmonic atmosphere,
the application of power factor correction capacitors can become difficult
unless the capacitors are equipped with in-line reactors that suppress harmful
harmonics. The HCMC design capacitors address this situation.

CMC Model
The CMC design, heavy duty industrial, metalized
rack-mounted capacitors are constructed with metalized electrodes. Capacitors of
this design use only .5 watts of power per kVAR and exhibit corona inception
voltages in excess of 800 volts. The CMC capacitor is also available with
compatible reactors to handle systems with non-linear loads.
